More than 100 police officers and also several civilians were injured during the riots last weekend in Stockholm, Örebro, Landskrona, Malmö, Linköping and Norrköping.

The fact that Rasmus Paludan never appeared in the latter two cities did not stop crowds from attacking police forces and civilians who came in between.

It is the police's own fault, according to two men who took part in Sunday's riot in Linköping.

- The police showed up with five or six cars and it is clear that people are provoked and think "if he (Rasmus) does not come, why are they (the police) here", says one of them.

Men stress that if people really want to riot, nothing will stop them, not even drawn weapons.

When asked if it is not in Paludan's favor, they answer:

- He gets what he wants.

He wants to make us immigrants look bad.

But in the end, he was not allowed to burn the Koran in our city.

Do we not have to respect freedom of expression?

- Then the guy must take consequences as well, if something happens, says one man.
