“In 2021, the Pension Fund spent more than 10.1 trillion rubles on the payment of pensions and benefits, state support measures for families with children and other categories of citizens,” the press service quoted TASS as saying.
It is noted that more than 86% of these funds went to the payment of pensions - about 8.8 trillion rubles.
