After the fire, the preschool received emergency help from another preschool that saved Vättersnäs from having to close down the preschool by temporarily letting the preschool teachers and children use their premises.
A few months later, the preschool gained access to two long-term premises that were located in different places, which meant that the preschool had to divide.
- Today we will have a party at the preschool because we will celebrate that we are finally together again, principal Carina Wernersson began, followed by the children and preschool teachers singing "We congratulate our preschool today" before the band was cut.
The children talk a lot about the fire
- They talk a lot about the fire and that the old preschool has been destroyed.
But they probably believed somewhere, and we also believed in an initial stage, that it would be rebuilt.
But the longer the time passed, we understood that it would not be possible and above all that we did not have time to wait for a possible build-up, says principal Carina Wernersson.
