This morning, Thursday morning, the Israeli occupation police raided the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and enabled settlers to storm the sanctuary, resulting in injuries among the Palestinians who were in retreat and stationed in the mosque.

At a time when Israeli warplanes bombed sites in the Gaza Strip, the resistance movements confirmed their choice of armed struggle.

And the Palestinian News Agency reported that dozens of detainees were injured as a result of the occupation forces' assault on them, and cases of suffocation and gunshot wounds were recorded.

The occupation forces attacked the women stationed in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and surrounded them inside the Dome of the Rock.

And Anadolu Agency said that dozens of Israeli policemen stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque and spread in its courtyards, as well as firing sound bombs in the mosque's courtyards.

The police forced the Muslim worshipers to completely evacuate the mosque's courtyards, before they began facilitating the settlers' intrusion into it through groups of dozens of people.

The incursions took place through the Mughrabi Gate in the western wall of the Sharif Mosque, amid heavy security by the Israeli police.

Palestinian media reported that the occupation forces fired tear gas and rubber bullets to drive the worshipers out of the tribal chapel at Al-Aqsa Mosque this morning.

The occupation police said that they arrested 7 young men on suspicion of being involved in throwing Molotov cocktails at Al-Aqsa Mosque yesterday.

Hundreds of settlers have stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque on a daily basis, since Sunday, coinciding with what the Jews call the Passover holiday, which began last Friday evening and ends today.

The Israeli police had imposed restrictions on the entry of Palestinian youths to Al-Aqsa Mosque to perform the dawn prayer.

first line of defense

The head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) said that what is happening in Al-Aqsa will shorten the life of the occupier, addressing the occupation, saying, "If you think that storming Al-Aqsa will change the Islamic character of the mosque, then you are delusional."

He added, "As we defeated the so-called march of the flags, we will defeat the policy of intrusion and we are still at the beginning of the battle," stressing that what the settlers are doing in Al-Aqsa will push all the strategic dimensions of the conflict to the fore.

Haniyeh pointed out that the Palestinian people, the stationed and the stationed at the Al-Aqsa Mosque represent the first line of defense, which will remain firm and advanced.

On the other hand, Israeli warplanes launched several raids targeting sites of the Palestinian factions south of Gaza City and the center of the Strip.

The Israeli raids caused material damage to two targeted sites, but no injuries were reported. Eyewitnesses reported that material damage occurred to a number of houses surrounding one of the targeted sites in Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. No injuries were reported among the residents.

Israeli army vehicles also fired at a number of monitoring points belonging to the Palestinian factions, east of Al-Bureij refugee camp and the town of Khuza'a, in the southern Gaza Strip.

Al-Jazeera correspondent reported that rockets were fired from Gaza in response to the Israeli raids on the sites of the factions in the Strip.

The Israeli army spokesman said that Iron Dome intercepted 4 rockets fired from Gaza towards the cover area.

The Israeli army had said that a shell fired earlier from the northern Gaza Strip fell into the yard of a house in the city of Sderot, near the northern border with the Strip.

He added that the shell did not cause any casualties, noting that the sirens sounded in the area and in all the towns near the border, but the Iron Dome was not activated at the time.

Resistance vows

Hamas said that the Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip will increase the resistance of the Palestinian people and their determination to continue the struggle against the occupation, and to escalate its support for the people of Jerusalem, regardless of the sacrifices.

The movement's spokesman Hazem Qassem stressed - in a press statement - that there is no room for the occupation army to win what he described as a battle of wills with the Palestinian people until their goals of liberation and return are achieved.

In a previous interview with Al-Jazeera, Qassem said that the Al-Qassam Brigades (the military wing of Hamas) is ready for military action if the Israeli escalation continues in Jerusalem.

He pointed out that the movement has anti-aircraft guns, referring to the communications of foreign parties to curb the movement, according to him.

For its part, the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine held the Israeli government responsible for the consequences of its military escalation against the Gaza Strip, and said - in a statement - that the Palestinian people had made up their minds to curb the aggression and the projects of occupation and settlement by the resistance in all its forms and tools.

The Front emphasized the right of the Palestinian people to defend themselves and their rights.

The Islamic Jihad movement blamed the occupation for the escalation in the Gaza Strip, and said that the Palestinian resistance is in a permanent session to monitor the behavior of the occupation.

Fatah movement also condemned the Israeli military escalation against the Gaza Strip, and its spokesman, Munther Al-Hayek, considered - in a press statement - that the attack on civilians is a dangerous escalation aimed at diverting attention from the current events in the occupied city of Jerusalem.
