Following the G20 = Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors' Meeting of the 20 Major Countries, the G7 = Seven Major Countries' Meeting issued a statement.


It states to Russia that it "strongly condemns the war of aggression for violating Ukraine's sovereignty and territory, international peace and security."

Most of the participants said that this was also important at the previous G20 meeting.



He also said that he was "regrettable" about Russia's attendance at G20 meetings.



He also mentioned that Ukraine's Treasury Minister Marchenko attended the G20 meeting, saying, "As a G7, we have expressed unwavering support and sincere solidarity with the Ukrainian people and the government."



He also stated that he would consider further strengthening sanctions, saying, "We will continue to act in cooperation with countries around the world to further increase the price of Russia in response to the intensifying situation in Ukraine."



This time, the joint statement was not adopted in the G20, but the G7 appealed to continue to unite and take a strong stance toward Russia.
