She noted that a significant part of the document - 93 pages - is devoted to Russia.
“Estimates are, of course, predictable.
And the principle by which this report is built and countries are divided into good and bad is extremely simple: depending on whether the countries follow in the wake of Washington or pursue an independent policy, ”concluded Zakharova.
Earlier, Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov, in connection with the publication by the State Department of a report on the situation with human rights in the world for 2021, said that the department wants to “denigrate the political system of objectionable countries.”
