China News Service, April 20. According to Taiwan's "Central News Agency", the International Monetary Fund (IMF) lowered its forecast for global economic growth this year, with Taiwan down to 3.2%.

  On the 19th, the IMF released the latest "World Economic Outlook". The report estimated that Taiwan's economic growth rate this year was 3.2%, down 0.1 percentage points from the October report last year. The economic growth rate next year is expected to be 2.9%.

  In the consumer price index (CPI) part, the report predicts that the annual growth rate of CPI in Taiwan will reach 2.3% this year, 0.8 percentage points higher than the 1.5% estimated in October last year; next year, it is estimated to be 2.2%.
