At around 10 pm, the police were alerted to a store on Storgatan in Gnosjö.
In connection with the closure, robbers entered the store with weapon-like objects and forced the staff to open a safe.
The perpetrators took with them an unknown amount of cash.
The police state that they came to the scene with a large number of resources.
Cars were stopped to look for the perpetrators and to bring in any observations from witnesses.
Serious robbery and serious gun crime
The store is now closed for a forensic investigation.
The crime is classified as aggravated robbery and aggravated weapon crime.
The police are keen to get observations regarding this robbery.
