Mr. Kitt said that he also used the anti-tank missile "Javelin" that the United States and others have provided to Ukraine. But killed dozens of Russian soldiers and destroyed several armored vehicles and trucks. "

Mr. Kitt also strongly opposes Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukaschenko's continued strong governance, including cracking down on rebels with the backing of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"Regaining Ukraine's freedom is important for Belarus' future," said Kitt, who said Ukraine was like a brother to Belarus, and said he would fight the Russian army for Ukraine. He emphasized the idea that he would like to help eliminate Russia's growing influence on Belarus.

Belarusian volunteer training

To support the Ukrainian army, many volunteers from Belarus, Russia's ally, have traveled to Ukraine to fight the Russian army.

An organization based in Warsaw, the capital of Poland, that is working to send Belarusian volunteers is training for volunteers, and the situation was released to NHK on the 19th.

The training was to learn first aid to help injured companions and was attended by about 10 people.

Pavel Kufta, the representative of the organization, will be the instructor, and when treating, he cautions that he should not turn his back in the direction of the battle to make it easier to detect the danger. He pointed out that weapons such as automatic rifles need to be pressed against the sides of the injured person's body to secure them.

He also explained how to use a tourniquet, saying that it is desirable to wear gloves to prevent the transmission of diseases caused by blood.

The trained volunteers left Warsaw's base by car and headed for Ukraine.

Mr. Kufta said, "I will not let you participate in the battle from the beginning. First, I will send it to Kieu and learn how to handle guns there. The training period varies from person to person, but it is about several weeks."

"Save the Ukrainians even if they are alone"

After training, a 23-year-old man who participated in Belarusian troops as a volunteer said, "This is the first time I have actually learned about rescue. By repeating the training many times, I can fight fear. "I think we will be able to do it," he said. "If we can save the Ukrainian people even if they are alone, we can get a sense of accomplishment."

The man was "true patriotic and anti-governmental at risk of being killed" for being detained in a demonstration against the Belarusian Lukaschenko administration, which is declining and deepening ties with Russia. I want you to know that there are Belarusians who are there. "

Another 35-year-old man said about the purpose of going to Ukraine as a volunteer, "I couldn't just sit and wait, I just had to go."

He said, "I'm going to fight for Belarus in the future. If Ukraine loses, the world will get worse, so Ukraine must win, and Belarus will be free."
