  The 2022 Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference with the theme of "Pandemic and the World: Promoting Global Development and Building a Common Future" will be held in Boao, Hainan from April 20 to 22.

  According to Li Baodong, Chinese President Xi Jinping will attend the opening ceremony of the annual meeting by video and deliver a keynote speech.

Israeli President Herzog, Mongolian President Khuri Sukh, Nepalese President Bhandari, Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte, Kazakhstan Prime Minister Smailov, Lao Prime Minister Pankan, President of the International Monetary Fund Georg Kieva and other foreign leaders and heads of international organizations will attend the annual meeting by video.

20 dignitaries and former dignitaries from various countries, 50 senior ministers and former officials, 22 heads of international and regional organizations, as well as many business leaders and famous scholars participated in the discussion.

  Li Baodong said that the annual meeting focuses on three major issues facing all countries in the world today: first, how to overcome the epidemic and build a post-epidemic world; second, how to promote the stable recovery of the world economy and achieve sustainable development; Nervous confrontation and seeking win-win cooperation.

Dozens of sub-forums and round-table meetings will be held at this annual meeting, with in-depth discussions on the above-mentioned issues in four sections: "green development", "innovative development", "inclusive development" and "cooperative development".

  According to preliminary statistics, more than 600 offline representatives from 42 countries and regions, nearly 400 online representatives, and more than 700 journalists from 102 media organizations attended the annual meeting this year.
