"Emirates Education" requires "excellence" to accept students' registration in government schools

The Emirates Foundation for School Education has set a condition for accepting students residing in public schools for the next academic year (2023/2022), in grades two to twelve, as it stressed the need for a student wishing to enroll in a public school to fulfill the "condition of excellence", which is not to be less than The percentage of his grades in three subjects (Arabic, English, and Mathematics) is less than 85% or its equivalent in the (AB) symbol system

The Foundation also announced the reopening of registration and transfer from private schools to government schools, or from outside the country, for citizen students and the like, and the opening of registration for resident students for the academic year 2023/2022, and registration continues until April 29. 


The Foundation had allowed registration in government schools, on the 14th of last March, in addition to transferring students from private schools to government or from outside the country for citizen students and the like for the academic year 2023/2022, until the first of April.


On the other hand, the make-up exams for students who missed the second semester exams, students in public and private schools that apply the curriculum of the Ministry of Education, will be concluded tomorrow.

The guide for schools’ readiness for the exams at the end of the second semester of the current academic year, which was issued by the Emirates Foundation for School Education, specified a time frame for the make-up exams for all students from the third to twelfth grade, during the period from 18-22 April.

The schedule of the compensatory exams, which was finally approved by the institution, for grades three to twelve (for the general, advanced, elite and applied tracks), indicated that the exams are in two periods per day, where the first starts at nine in the morning and ends at eleven, for two hours, and the second starts at 11 o’clock :30 to 1:30 p.m. for two hours. 

Today, Thursday, students will take the social studies and Islamic education exams, while the elite and advanced track students will conclude their exams with chemistry, the applied track with the applied sciences, and the general track with chemistry/biology.
