“In one of the American publications, a material was published that contains a conclusion about the use of prohibited cluster munitions by the armed formations of Ukraine.
Representatives of the foreign media found fragments of such ammunition, allegedly fired from a multiple launch rocket system in the village of Gusarovka, Kharkiv region," the ministry said.
The New York Times reported that Ukrainian troops may have used banned cluster munitions in an attack on the village of Gusarivka in the Kharkiv region in March.
Earlier it was reported that the Investigative Committee of Russia will check the information of war correspondents about the use of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and nationalists of the Uragan MLRS with cluster munitions prohibited by international law in the village of Chistovodovka near Izyum.
