The Green Party, which together with the Left Party and the Social Democrats produced the guarantee supplement for pensioners, did not give any information on Tuesday about how they will vote on the budget.

Above all, the Green Party will present its own budget motion where we will present our economic policy.

There will be clear investments, especially in the climate, says Per Bolund (MP).

At his press conference, the Left Party's economic policy spokesman Ali Esbati highlighted the proposal for the pension supplement as important.

SD wants to see additions to the police

The Sweden Democrats, who believe that the government's contribution of two million kronor to the police is too little, believe that there are problems with the government's proposal for a guarantee supplement:

 - Is it possible to agree in the opposition to present a better proposal?

We are not there yet but I hope so, says Oscar Sjöstedt, economic policy spokesman.

The Center Party also believes that a reinforcement is needed for pensioners, who want to investigate what alternatives are on the table before they take a position on the proposal.

Asked how the party would stand in a final budget vote if it stood between the government's alternative and some form of opposition alternative, economic policy spokesman Martin Ådahl (C) did not give a straight answer.

- Today we do not know what the alternatives look like there, so the important thing for us is to make sure to get through the important issues we have when it comes to green energy, jobs, Swedish food production and to cope with this crisis situation.

Will talk to other parties

The Christian Democrats highlighted labor market reforms but also the aftermath of the corona pandemic.

After the press conference, Jakob Forssmed (KD) was asked if the party will present an alternative budget.

- We will talk to other parties in the Finance Committee who are interested in submitting proposals that are better than the government.

The Moderates' Elisabeth Svantesson said at her press conference that the government has laid down a budget that has not been anchored and that the party will now go through it in detail.

- Today we will debate the government's budget.

There will be days when we present our alternative and then you will find out exactly what we think in detail about the pension supplement.

The Liberals' economic policy spokesman Mats Persson believes that the government has presented a weak budget and above all lacks money in the budget to increase the police density and "substantial additions" to the school.
