Uppsala's annual record of 19.9 degrees was thus not very long-lasting but was passed with flying colors by Gothenburg on Tuesday.
However, it is still a long way to the all-time record set in 1993 in Geneva in Halland when they measured 29 degrees in April.
But temperatures above twenty degrees are not uncommon for the season.
Colder than usual
