Last night (19th) night (19th), the second lieutenant of the National Assembly Legislative and Judiciary Committee, who was deprived of the prosecution's investigative powers and entered into the review of the so-called 'complete inspection' bill, went bankrupt after a nervous battle over the controversy over the word "that".

The first sub-committee of the Judiciary Committee's bill review, which continued at around 8:30 pm yesterday evening, was a workshop to raise the voice between Rep. Choi Kang-wook of the Democratic Party and Rep. Jeon Joo-hye of People's Power.

At a briefing after the meeting, Rep. Sang-beom Yoo, the secretary of the People's Power, claimed, "Rep. Choi lowered the dignity of the committee by using the word 'that' to a woman and her senior colleague, a former lawmaker."

Rep. Yoo said, "The power of the people has made it clear that if Rep. Choi does not publicly apologize, she will not be able to attend the meeting tomorrow," Yoo said.

She also warned, "If there is no public apology, we will actively consider even filing a complaint with the Ethics Committee from the perspective of the people."

Rep. Choi Kang-wook said, "It seems like a kind of delay strategy (of the people's power), and [the former lawmaker] repeated the same story and repeated questions for 20 to 30 minutes." He explained that he objected.

Rep. Choi said to the former lawmaker, "'I pointed out the attitude of answering to the deputy chief of the Court Administration Office or to the person present.

Rep. Choi said, "The former lawmaker said, 'You should commit a case of collusion with Channel A's prosecuting attorney.'" He said.

Rep. Choi is being tried on charges of defaming the reputation of former Channel A reporter Lee Dong-jae in connection with the controversy over 'prosecution collusion'.

Rep. Choi is said to have had a sharp battle with Kim Hyung-doo, deputy director of the Court Administration Office, who argued that the law was 'unconstitutional'.

It is known that Kim Hyung-doo, deputy director of the Court Administration Office, expressed his opposition to the inspection, saying, "The view that the deprivation of the prosecutor's right to investigate is unconstitutional is strong."

Lawmakers from the ruling and opposition parties conducted a review on the revision of Article 4 of the Prosecutor's Office Act yesterday, which states that the second lieutenant will exclude the investigative power from the scope of the prosecutor's duties.

Previously, the ruling and opposition judiciary members started the second lieutenant at around 2:00 pm yesterday, hearing the opposition of Prosecutor General Oh-su Kim to the Inspection and Overhaul Act.

The ruling and opposition members of the Judiciary Committee agreed to reopen the second lieutenant this afternoon, but yesterday's workshop made the schedule unclear.
