Candidate Ho-young Jung for Minister of Health and Welfare announced today (19th) that there was no illegal or unjust act in relation to the controversy over the transfer of her two children to Kyungpook National University.



Candidate Jeong, who went to work at the office at the National Pension Service building in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul this morning, read a prepared statement in front of reporters saying, "So far, there has not been a single suspicion of illegal or unfair conduct."



Candidate Chung reiterated, "Many allegations have been raised, but all of them have been confirmed to be untrue. I have never done anything illegal or morally unjust in my children's problems," he reiterated.



Regarding the Ministry of Education's decision to review the comprehensive audit of Kyungpook National University yesterday, he said, "Yesterday, Kyungpook National University requested an audit from the Ministry of Education saying that there was no problem in the transfer process, and the Ministry of Education also said it would review it." I hope that the investigation proceeds as soon as possible. If necessary, I will directly receive the investigation and actively cooperate.”
