It has been revealed that the daughter of Lee Sang-min, a candidate for the Minister of the Interior and Safety, worked as an intern at the law firm her father attended when she was in high school.

It was also confirmed that this candidate donated 500 million won three years ago when her children bought an apartment in Seoul.

However, in response to a reporter's question, this candidate said that her daughter was an intern at first, but later changed her position to say that it was an experience program.

This content was covered exclusively by reporter Kim Ki-tae.

Lee Sang-min, a candidate for security minister, answered SBS's inquiry that her daughter, Mo, worked as an intern at Yulchon, a law firm in 2009.

She was known at the time that Mr. Lee was a sophomore in high school in the United States and took advantage of her vacation time.

However, this period overlaps with Lee's tenure as a partner attorney at Yulchon.

She later went on to the Department of Political Science at New York University where she was Mr. Lee.

Her New York University website lists 'past experience' as the primary evaluation target for her academic plan for further study.

After the first answer, Lee added that the internship was not true and that he had visited the law firm during the winter vacation as part of an out-of-school experience program. Changed it.

Yulchon said that it was 13 years ago, so there are no records.

The candidate's daughter and son also purchased an apartment in Gangnam-gu, Seoul in 2019 for 1.1 billion won in a joint name with a 6 to 4 stake.

According to Lee's property report a year ago, the daughter refused to announce the property, and the son's assets were all 34 million won in deposits.

The candidate's side said, "It was a so-called 'gap investment' with 380 million won in jeonse money.

This candidate virtually admitted that her wife, Jeong Mo, moved to an officetel in Dogok-dong, Gangnam-gu, in June 2004, saying, "The address was changed for her child's middle school assignment."
