Guinness World Records has set a new record for an American family of 5 in Minnesota, which has become the longest family in the world today.

According to the encyclopedia, the Trapp family consists of 5 members: Scott, Chrissy, Savannah, Molly and Adam, and the latter is the tallest, at 221.17 cm, while the mother, Chrissy, is the shortest, 191.2 cm.

The average family height is 203.29 cm (6 ft 8.03 in), where the sum of the heights of the family members equals the length of half a tennis court.

Thanks to these heights, the three sons practiced sports, as the coaches made sure to use their heights in basketball and volleyball.

The family believes that registering their names in a world encyclopedia, the size of Guinness, is a compensation for the negative effects that are inflicted on them because of their height.

"Our friends and family are proud of us and love to brag about us, saying they know the world record holder," daughter Savannah told Guinness.

"Being able to meet new people when they come and ask me questions about my height is what I love the most," her brother added.

On the other hand, the father saw something more positive, saying, "My height is good for housework... I don't need a ladder at all."

Savannah concluded her speech by saying, "There is joy and freedom in embracing who you are.. Show what you are. There is no one like you, because you are wonderful."
