The Kremlin: There is no progress in peace talks with Ukraine

The Kremlin said there was no progress in sight in the ongoing negotiations between Russia and Ukraine to end the war.

The official Russian news agency Interfax quoted Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov as saying that Ukraine has changed its position frequently, and that there are contradictions when it comes to coordination.

Peskov said the "special military operation", as the Kremlin describes the war, was going according to plan.

Peskov added that the Kremlin saw pictures of the burning Russian war cruiser Moskva, which sank recently, and said: "It is real and corresponds to reality, and we cannot deny it."

Ukraine said it had hit "Moskva" with two Neptune missiles, while Russia claims that a fire broke out on board the cruiser, which then led to its sinking.
