Putin awarded the 64th separate motorized rifle brigade the honorary name "Guards"

This is stated in the decree published on the Internet portal of legal information.

“For mass heroism and courage, fortitude and courage shown by the personnel of the brigade in combat operations to protect the Fatherland and state interests in armed conflicts, I decide: to assign the honorary name “Guards” to the 64th separate motorized rifle brigade and continue to name it: 64- I am a separate guards motorized rifle brigade, ”the document says.

At the end of March, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the 155th Marine Brigade and the 126th Coastal Defense Brigade were awarded the honorary title of Guards.
