This was reported to RT by one of the members of the commission.

Earlier, the media, citing the defendant's lawyer, reported that on April 14, employees of the detention center allegedly beat Medvedev.

“In a conversation with members of the commission, Medvedev said that he had discussed the situation with the head of the pre-trial detention center and did not consider it necessary to talk about it with the PMC, and answered in the affirmative to a clarifying question about whether he considers the incident to be settled,” the source told RT.

The Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia previously denied the information about the beating of Medvedev, specifying that he refused to proceed to the court session, in connection with which physical force was applied to him - bending his arm.

Earlier, RT reported that Oleg Medvedev was arrested in July 2019.

At the same time, the press service of the Russian Investigative Committee then called him “the so-called thief in law” Shishkan and claimed that, “according to the investigation, he was involved in the kidnapping and murder in 2012 of the deputy of the Ramensky district of the Moscow region Tatyana Sidorova and members of her family.”
