Emmanuel Macron held his big between-two-round meeting on Saturday April 16 in Marseille.

If the outgoing president has promised a new ecological turn in the event of a possible new five-year term, left-wing voters are struggling to be convinced by the president-candidate.

REPORT

More than 4,200 people, according to Emmanuel Macron's campaign team, were present at the first major meeting of the candidate president's in-between rounds.

Among them, supporters of the outgoing president, but also left-wing voters who came to form an opinion.

They were a minority in this crowd.

"I came to hear and reassure myself in my choice"

Some of them were undecided, others had voted for France Insoumise or for Europe Écologie-Les Verts during the first round of the presidential election.

Babilé, does not wish to take a decision lightly.

He intends to postpone his vote for Emmanuel Macron: "There is no doubt, there is no choice. Because Marine Le Pen is the far right and it's no," says Babilé at the microphone of Europe 1.

"I came to hear, to reassure myself in my choice, even if it is forced," he added.

"I don't feel human"

Others like Frédéric are completely undecided.

Emmanuel Macron's performance did not convince him at all.

"I'm having a hard time because I don't feel him close to the people and I think it's going to be the first time I'm going to vote blank. I'm still giving myself time. I'm just going to eat an ice cream because it's very hot and I'm going to digest everything he said. But now, I don't feel human", announces Frédéric.
