China News Agency, Beijing, April 17 (Ma Shuisha) Hao Chun, director of the China Manned Space Engineering Office, said in Beijing on the 17th that it plans to launch China's first large-scale space survey telescope next year to carry out wide-area sky survey observations. A new generation of manned spacecraft will be developed that can carry seven astronauts.

The State Council Information Office of China held a press conference on the progress of the construction of the Chinese space station on the same day.

In response to the question of the blueprint for China's manned spaceflight project after the completion of the space station, Hao Chun said that after the completion of the in-orbit construction of the space station this year, the Chinese space station will be transferred to the application and development stage for more than ten years. The initial plan is to launch two ships per year. For the manned spacecraft and two cargo spacecraft, astronauts must stay in orbit for a long time, carry out space science experiments and technical experiments, and take care and maintain the space station.

Hao Chun pointed out that in order to further improve the comprehensive capability and technical level of the project, China will also develop a new generation of manned launch vehicles and a new generation of manned spacecraft.

Among them, the new-generation manned launch vehicle and the new-generation manned spacecraft return capsule can be reusable. The new-generation manned spacecraft can carry seven astronauts, and the uplink and downlink load capacity has also been greatly improved.

"At the same time, we are considering the expansion of the space station to further support on-orbit scientific experiments and create better conditions for astronauts to work and live."

Hao Chun said that China plans to launch China's first large-scale space survey telescope next year to carry out wide-area survey observations, and will carry out cutting-edge scientific research in the formation and evolution of cosmic structures, dark matter and dark energy, exoplanets and solar system celestial bodies, etc. Approval of major innovations.

Hao Chun pointed out that China will also actively explore the commercial development model of manned spaceflight, absorb social forces to participate in the construction, operation and maintenance of the space station, continuously improve the comprehensive benefits of the space station, and promote the high-quality development of manned spaceflight.

While carrying out the development and construction of the space station, China has also carried out key technological breakthroughs and in-depth demonstration of plans for manned lunar exploration.

Talking about how to carry out international cooperation after the completion of China's space station, Hao Chun said that exploring the unknown universe and developing aerospace technology are the common cause of mankind and cannot be separated from the cooperation of all countries.

Throughout the development of manned spaceflight, international cooperation is also a historical trend that promotes the continuous development of manned spaceflight to a higher level.

Hao Chun emphasized that China's manned spaceflight development has always adhered to the principles of peaceful use, equality and mutual benefit, and common development. In the future, under this principle, we will definitely conduct more in-depth exchanges and cooperation with all countries in the world that are committed to the peaceful use of outer space. .

"We are willing to build China's space station into a platform to promote the building of a community with a shared future for mankind. Together with astronauts and aerospace technology teams from various countries, we will continue to explore the vast universe and benefit mankind." (End)
