According to ABC News, citing police data, the Hampton County Sheriff's Office has already received a request for an investigation into the Furman incident.
The circumstances of the incident were not reported.
This is the second such incident in the region over the Easter weekend.
Earlier, the Associated Press, citing police data, reported that in the US city of Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania), two minors were killed as a result of shooting at a house party, and at least nine more people were injured.
