"The prosecutor's office of the Stavropol Territory is conducting an investigation in connection with the appeals of residents of the village of Maryina Kolodtsy to a medical facility with symptoms of poisoning," the department said.
Four people were hospitalized, among the sick there are children, the department noted.
The prosecutor's office recalled that a year earlier, an inspection had already been carried out on the fact of mass poisoning of the inhabitants of the same village.
Then it was found that officials did not ensure that the quality of drinking water meets sanitary and epidemiological requirements.
