Estonia bans Russian-flagged ships from entering its ports

"Ships flying the Russian flag are prohibited from entering the ports of the EU, including Estonia," RIA Novosti quoted the ministry as saying.

The ban will also apply to ships that, after February 24, “changed their Russian flag to another one.”

It is noted that ships under the Russian flag in distress may, in some cases, call at Estonian ports with the permission of the Police and Border Guard Department.

Earlier, Bulgaria banned ships under the Russian flag from entering the ports of the Black Sea.
