The gathering took place on Saturday morning in a parking lot in central Kil.
When SVT Nyheter Värmland was met by people who traveled all the way from Umeå in the north and Småland in the south - to be part of Värmland's traditional caravan on Easter Eve.
The police have previously flagged that there are indications that more people will participate this year - when the pandemic no longer means the same restrictions - and they have both strengthened the police presence and have a collaboration between Swedish and Norwegian police to maintain order.
