Birds Aren't Real was created by chance.

In a spontaneous whim, the founder Peter McIndoe joined a demonstration train for something completely different and wrote a few words about the fact that birds are not on a poster.

Here and there, he invented that since 1959, American authorities have eradicated and replaced all real birds with flying drones for mass surveillance.

Today he has upwards of two million followers on social media.

He hopes everyone understands that it is a fabrication, that he pursues the conspiracy theories that thrive online.

And Peter McIndoe does not even think that his fictional conspiracy theory is crazier than what the followers actually believe.

- It's not even half as crazy as anything else I see on social media.

In the video, you can immerse yourself in the "fake" birds - and see how it all started.
