In his strategy of seducing the Green and Insoumis electorate, Emmanuel Macron holds his big meeting between two rounds in Marseille.

A "city of hearts" for the candidate, according to those around him.

In front of 3,000 to 4,000 people, he should talk about ecology, but also address young people.

Two days after Marine Le Pen, it is Emmanuel Macron's turn to hold his main meeting between the two rounds.

For this strategic moment, the president-candidate chose to speak in front of 3,000 to 4,000 people in the Pharo park in Marseille.

A second city in France acquired in the majority by Jean-Luc Mélenchon, who came out on top in the first round with 31% of the vote.

Talking to Left Voters

With this meeting, the Head of State wishes above all to speak to voters on the left.

But his entourage highlights that it is a natural choice for the president.

Beyond his love for OM, Emmanuel Macron has a special relationship with the Marseille city.

"It's her city of hearts. It symbolizes young and plural France, everything that Marine Le Pen hates", confides an adviser.

In his speech, Emmanuel Macron will therefore continue his seduction operation with the Greens and the Insoumis.

He should notably talk about youth, clarify his position on pensions, and announce new proposals in terms of ecology.

There will also be an air of deja vu: last September, Emmanuel Macron had already chosen this postcard setting to present his investment plan for Marseille.
