“My request expresses deep concern in connection with the actions of the Ukrainian authorities in relation to my colleague, and emphasizes that the systematic obstruction of the exercise of his parliamentary powers, restrictions on the activities of the Opposition Platform – For Life party headed by him, as well as the initiation of criminal prosecution against Viktor Medvedchuk require the special attention of the entire international community,” the senator wrote on Telegram.
He noted that the Federation Council will closely monitor the actions of the committee.
