Investigative Committee to study reports of torture of civilians in Liman by Ukrainian nationalists

The National Center for Defense Control of Russia published data, including information about the torture and holding hostage by the nationalists as a "human shield" of about 6.2 thousand foreigners.

The Investigative Committee will analyze the information of the Ministry of Defense and attach it to the materials of the criminal case under investigation, the department noted.

“The actions of the persons involved will be given a proper legal assessment,” the UK said in a statement.

Earlier, the Investigative Committee opened three criminal cases against servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine on the facts of torture of the Russian military.
