A worker died and 8 others were injured in the collapse of a mosque under construction in Badr City. They were taken to the hospital to receive the necessary treatment. The Egyptian security forces kept the body inside the mortuary until it was handed over to its families after the autopsy was completed to determine the causes of death.
According to Al-Watan newspaper, the incident began with the emergency police operations room in the Cairo Security Directorate receiving a notification from a number of residents in Badr City, of the collapse of a mosque under construction in the department of swearing by workers, which resulted in the death of one person and the injury of 8 others.
The Civil Protection forces moved to the location of the report, backed by a number of ambulances, to transport the injured to the hospital for treatment, and a report was issued on the incident.
