This is not a joke.
A group of friends from Saint-Brieuc (Côtes-d'Armor) want to break the world record for the largest human caterpillar.
This attempt will take place on the Place Haute du Chai on June 5 at 3:15 p.m., at the end of the Art Rock festival, reports
Le Télégramme
.
A record of 390 people
This crazy idea came from a tradition: a caterpillar organized at the end of the festival by this group of friends in a bar in the city.
In an attempt to break the record, the Bretons created a Facebook event.
Nearly 300 people have already announced their participation.
The current world record is 390 people, so the organizers are very optimistic.
The team, which calls itself “Little caterpillar”, is also looking for their review leader Nadine, the person who will guide the caterpillar in their crossing of the city.
Applications can thus be sent, in writing, to the bar Le Fût chantant, until May 25th.
