The hospitalized victim

The train, which was carrying 60 people, stopped suddenly after an "abnormal shock", according to the testimony of a passenger.

The controllers then informed the occupants of the TER that a suicide attempt had taken place.

A motorist had tried to dissuade the young woman from settling on the tracks, in vain.

However, the train passed over her without touching her.

Shocked and in a state of "psychological distress" according to the firefighters who intervened, she was taken to hospital.

After a 45-minute delay, the TER was able to resume its journey.
