The Constitutional Council published this week the official statement of the results of the first round of the presidential election and during the ballot, several violations were noted.

Most of them are quite funny.

More than 10,000 votes canceled throughout France, this is the record of fraud, sometimes surprising, in the first round of the presidential election.

The Constitutional Council published the official declaration of the results this week, highlighting several sometimes comical infractions.

This is the case for example in Lechelle, in Pas-de-Calais, where the mayor has decided to organize the vote at home, in his house, without a voting booth, which is totally prohibited.

Absence of assessors, open ballot boxes...

The Constitutional Council also claims that no assessor was present in several offices, such as in the 12th arrondissement of Paris.

Result: the 1,250 votes around the Nation metro were canceled.

In Nice or Grasse, in the Alpes-Maritimes, the results were simply higher than the number of bulletins listed.

This is why the 1,300 votes were also refused.

In two other polling stations, "the ballot box simply remained open", so it was possible to insert several ballots at the same time very easily.

The first round ballot on Sunday April 10 was also marked by classic errors, such as the simple fact of "having signed the emergence notebook before voting", or "not having transmitted the results in time", and even "having closed the polling station at 6 p.m. instead of 7 p.m. More serious, moreover: a magistrate who came to check that the ballot had been carried out "was fired aggressively" by the head of a polling station.
