The son of Minister of Health and Welfare Nominee Jeong Ho-young, who transferred to Kyungpook National University Medical School through special admission in 2018, was judged as a second-class active duty soldier in 2010.

However, five years later, at the reexamination, the judgment was changed to level 4, and from 2019, I worked as a social service worker at the Daegu District Court.

The Democratic Party claimed that the medical certificate submitted during the reexamination was issued by Kyungpook National University Hospital, where Chung was working.

Candidate Jeong explained that his son, who was diagnosed with spinal disease in 2013, received a grade 4 diagnosis from the doctor for military service after a CT scan at a 15-year reexamination.

Controversy has also been added over the career written by his son Jung when he transferred to medical school.

Jung wrote that he worked 40 hours a week for three months from October 2015 as a student researcher at Kyungpook National University's research institute.

Candidate Chung countered that he participated in the study even when he was not in class, at night and on weekends.

The Democratic Party went to Kyungpook National University to confirm these allegations.

The Democratic Party said that in the case of candidate Chung, he was not even subject to a hearing, but Yoon Seok-yeol's side said that he was confident that the candidate himself was upright, and that he intends to watch until the hearing.

For Prime Minister Han Deok-soo, a picture drawn by his spouse was on the cutting board.

In December 2012, right after serving as the ambassador to the United States, four paintings were sold for 39 million won in both Hyosung Group and Booyoung Housing in a solo exhibition held by her spouse.

The Democratic Party pressured the public to disclose the details of painting sales, saying that there is a possibility of a conflict of interest.

The ruling and opposition parties have agreed to hold a personnel hearing for a candidate for two days starting on the 25th.

Thirteen people including Kim Young-moo, the founder of Kim & Chang, were selected as witnesses to confirm the controversy over the high cost of torture at Kim & Chang's law firm.
