5 procedures to lift the restriction on establishments violating the “wage protection”

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has identified five main steps or procedures that the owners of establishments that have been subjected to a suspension by the Ministry as a result of placing a restriction on them in the wage protection system, must take to lift the ban in order to be able to complete their transactions and obtain the services of the Ministry.

According to an indicative circular broadcast by the ministry on its official platforms on social media, the five measures include “the obligation to pay the wages of all workers through the wage protection system, and the employer must pay the wages of the worker who is on leave inside the country or outside it through the wage protection system, before the start of the wages protection system.” If there is an error in transferring the salary, the facility submits a request for a salary adjustment service through the approved service centers (businessmen service centers, delivery, or the facility system).

The procedures also included “the facility submits a request for technical support if the ban continues on it despite the payment of wages, with proof attached, which also applies if fishing boats or taxis are banned.”
