On the 15th local time, a shooting occurred north of Winfield, Kansas, USA, killing one person and injuring three others.
According to the local police, the police came out after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle and engaged in a firefight with a woman in the car while investigating the suspicious vehicle.
The woman was confirmed dead at the scene.
Three policemen were shot and injured during the exchange of fire and were taken to hospital for treatment. They are currently in stable condition.
The cause of the firefight is still under investigation.
