A woman is tied to her chair on an American Airlines flight from Dallas to Charlotte in July last year.

There is also tape on her mouth, at the time the woman was making a fuss asking to open the door of an operating airliner before heading to the emergency exit and attempting to open it.

She also said that she beat and bit the crew as she ran to subdue herself.

Aviation authorities recently fined this passenger $81,950, or about 100 million won.

It is said to be the largest fine in U.S. aviation history.

After the authorities announced in January last year that they would apply the zero-tolerance principle to passengers who threaten safety by causing in-flight disturbances, the policy has been implemented since March.

Netizens responded, "Considering that other passengers are threatened, a fine of 100 million won is small!", "If you make a mistake, you should be punished properly. Let's apply the zero tolerance principle too!"
