Walid Al Zoubi donates 6 million dirhams to the "Billion Meals" initiative

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Tiger Group, Walid Al-Zoubi, announced his support for the largest “billion meals” initiative in the region to provide relief to the needy, by providing an amount of 6 million dirhams, for the largest campaign of its kind in the region, to provide food support to the needy, the poor and those who suffer from food insecurity. Among the least advantaged groups in 50 countries.

Walid Al-Zoubi joins, with his contribution, many institutions, companies, businessmen and individuals who have announced their support for the efforts of the Billion Meals Initiative to reach direct food support to particularly vulnerable groups of children, refugees, displaced people and those affected by crises and disasters around the world.

Donation mechanisms

The “One Billion Meals” initiative receives donations through four approved channels, which are the website www.1billionmeals.ae and the bank transfer to the “One Billion Meals” initiative account on the approved account number: AE300260001015333439802 at Emirates NBD in UAE dirhams.

If you wish to donate one dirham per day to the initiative through a monthly subscription, you can send a text message with the word “Meal” or “Meal” to the number 1020 for users of the “du” network, or to the number 1110 for users of the “Etisalat” network.

Donations can also be made by contacting the “Billion Meals” initiative call center at 8009999.
