According to Kovitidi, the adoption of such a bill is another confirmation of the "humanitarian aggression" of the collective West against the countries of the post-Soviet space.

As the senator noted, such a policy is aimed at depriving these states of sovereignty.

She stressed that the Moldovan authorities are “betraying historical traditions” by such a decision.

“They are destroying the foundations of their national identity,” the parliamentarian concluded.

Earlier, the Speaker of the Moldovan Parliament, Igor Grosu, announced that a bill banning the wearing and storage of St. George ribbons, as well as the use of V and Z symbols, was approved in the third final reading.

Thus, for the manufacture, sale, distribution, storage for distribution and public use of well-known attributes and symbols used in connection with acts of military aggression, individuals, officials and legal entities will face a fine.
