“As of the evening of April 13, 1,350 Ukrainian marines surrendered,” the headquarters said in a Telegram channel.

Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, Major General Igor Konashenkov, confirmed the information that more than 1,000 Ukrainian servicemen from the 36th Marine Brigade had surrendered in Mariupol.

A RT source said that among the Ukrainian military from the 36th Marine Brigade who surrendered in Mariupol were two British subjects.
