The current head of the republic, Anatoly Bibilov, and the leader of the opposition political party Nykhas, Alan Gagloev, will take part in the second round.

Earlier, the CEC of South Ossetia reported that the incumbent head of state Anatoly Bibilov and Alan Gagloev entered the second round of elections.

Later, the press service of the head of the republic announced that the second round of voting would take place on April 28.
