Suspected killer was arrested at a train station in Lund

The suspect is in his 20s, and denies any wrongdoing.

- He was arrested at the train station in Lund by a police patrol and will be taken to Karlskrona during the day.

There has only been a short initial interrogation, where he denies the crime, says Lena-Marie Bergström, prosecutor in the murder case.

According to her, it was the deceased 23-year-old who sounded the alarm if it happened.

- When the police arrived at the scene, he was unfortunately already dead.

Initial investigative measures indicated that the suspect and the victim had met earlier on Wednesday.

At present, however, there is no indication that the detainee was at the murder scene.

- These are the information we will now check, if they have been met and if so, what has happened.

I do not know if they have had a relationship before.
