Peskov answered a clarifying question whether there was a report to Putin on the incident on the Moskva cruiser.

“Well, of course,” he said.

Earlier, as a result of a fire on the Moskva missile cruiser, an explosion of ammunition occurred, the crew of the ship was evacuated.

Later, the ministry said the fire had been contained.

According to the agency, the Moskva cruiser remains buoyant, and its main missile armament is not damaged.
