Prosecutor General Kim Oh-soo, who is strongly opposed to the Democratic Party's push for the party's proposal for the 'completely deprived of the prosecution's investigation authority, the prosecution's investigation-separation of the right to indictment', visited the National Assembly and repeatedly expressed his opposition.

President Oh-su Kim visited the National Assembly on the morning of the 14th and had an interview with Park Gwang-on, chairman of the Legislative and Judiciary Committee.

President Kim met with reporters before the interview and said, "I hope that I will not make the mistake of abolishing the prosecution immediately."

"If the prosecution's investigation function is completely abolished, criminals will be happy and crime victims will be unhappy," Kim said.

Then, he said, "If there is a problem with the prosecution's investigation, a special law is good and a special committee is good. If the system is improved, the prosecution will follow." Then, "If there is a problem with the impartiality or neutrality of the prosecution investigation, you may make a special law that corrects only that part. “It is okay to create a special body like the Special Committee on Judicial Reform in the National Assembly,” he said.

President Kim had a 20-minute interview with Chairman Park Kwang-on in the chairman's office.

At this meeting, President Kim also delivered a letter summarizing the opinions of the prosecution.

After the interview, President Kim said, "Even if we were to discuss the bill, I asked them to discuss it sufficiently and review the problems together."

Chairman Park said, "I said (to President Kim) that I would deliberately review the bill responsibly according to the democratic process according to the provisions of the Constitution and the National Assembly Act.
