The incident, which Nyhetsbyrån Järva was the first to report on, attracted attention when the police's Facebook post described the case in detail and where pictures of the victim's residential building, staircase and apartment door were also published.

After the criticism, the post was taken down, to be republished later the same day - then without the pictures of the home and with some changes in the text.

The police then explained that the post was fabricated with the aim of getting more people to report this type of crime, but then took it back.

- This is not a fictional event, but an event that we must tell about.

However, neither plaintiffs nor perpetrators should be able to identify with the post, says Anders Djurestad, deputy police chief in Rinkeby.

Hear the police tell more about how they reasoned in the clip above.
