Central African Republic: the video of an assassination by men in military uniform arouses indignation

In the Central African Republic, these images have made the rounds on social networks: we see men in military uniform executing a kneeling prisoner with knives, his hands tied behind his back.

In a press release, the staff denounces a " 

montage 

" but the images continue to arouse indignation as well as strong reactions from the opposition.

The scene is difficult to sustain.

Six men in arms and military uniform, speaking Sango, their faces uncovered, watch and film while a 7th cuts the throat of a man on the ground, his hands tied behind his back.

Some sources believe they can identify the protagonists and the location.

In January, photos of the scene had already circulated: the victim was seen in a vehicle similar to those used by the police. 

In a statement, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Zéphirin Mamadou speaks without hesitation of " 

montages

 " and "

 staging

 " with the aim of "

 discrediting 

" the Central African Republic and its army.  

 It's an old video.

The scene did not take place on Central African territory

 , ”declares the Minister Special Advisor to the Presidency Fidèle Guandjika on his Facebook page.

The MLPC party of opponent Martin Ziguélé denounces an " 

act of barbarism 

" and "

demands the urgent opening of an investigation 

".
