Four Korean women in their 20s died in a car accident in Australia.

] The SUV that collided with the truck was shattered beyond recognition.



At around 5:30 pm local time yesterday (13th), an SUV collided with a large truck on the driveway of a New England highway in southern Queensland, Australia.



Local police believe the truck was traveling on the highway and collided with an SUV that was trying to enter the road.



It was raining on the site at the time.



All four Korean women in their mid-20s who were riding in the SUV died on the spot.

The women who died entered Australia a few weeks ago on a working holiday visa that combines tourism and work, and were on their way home from work on the farm. .



Australia, which has closed its borders due to strict corona quarantine, has been allowing entry on a working holiday since February 20.



A drug and alcohol test for the truck driver came out negative, but it is said that the local police are focusing on the possibility of the Korean driver's negligence.



The Korean Consulate General in Sydney is trying to determine the identity of the women who died and the circumstances of the accident, and is seeking ways to contact their families.
