"We meet in Heaven" .. a touching message from a Ukrainian girl to her deceased mother!

A letter written by a nine-year-old girl to her deceased mother reveals painful details about the war in Ukraine.

Galia wrote the letter in what appeared to be a diary for her mother, who was killed by the Russian operations.

"Mama, this letter is your gift.. If you think you raised me for no good, you are wrong. Thank you for the nine years of my life. Thank you for my childhood. You are the best mother in the world! I will never forget you! I wish you happiness in heaven. I will try to control my behavior to enter Heaven. Kisses," according to the CBS News translation of the message.

According to Al-Arabiya.net, the Ukrainian Internal Affairs Adviser, Anton Gerashchenko, published a picture of the message on his Twitter account, and Galia had written the message on the eighth of last March, less than two weeks after Russian President Vladimir Putin launched his military campaign against Ukraine. In late February.

Gerashenko said the girl's mother had died in the Ukrainian city of Borodianka, which has suffered horrific conditions since the Russian invasion.

And Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stressed, last week, that the situation in Borodianka is worse than its neighbor Bucha, whose pictures of the bodies of murdered civilians on its streets and mass graves have recently made headlines around the world.

And last Thursday, Ukrainian investigators confirmed that 26 bodies had been found under the rubble of destroyed buildings in Borodianka, which Ukrainian forces recently recaptured from Russia, according to Reuters.

CBS reported that local rescue forces continued their efforts on Monday to find the missing residents.

The Ukrainian president said, on Wednesday, that "tens of thousands of people have been killed so far" in Ukraine.

He added in a recorded speech that "the Russian army uses artillery in all its forms, all kinds of missiles and aerial bombs, including phosphorous bombs and other weapons prohibited under international law."

"This is a clear intimidation of civilians, an attempt to break the resolve of the people, occupy Ukrainians for decades, or simply eliminate them," Zelensky said.
